"Of Mice and Men"

By Steinbeck

Lennie and George were best friends. Lennie had a problem of feeling soft and furry. His big and build body had a mind of an eight years old child. Because of this problem, they were forced to move from one farm to another to look for jobs.

George had a thin and skinny body. He was more of a mind controlling kind of person. Most decisions between them were made by him. He had not just to deal with his own problems, he also needed to take care of Lennie's problems. His relationship with lennie was more like father to son than friends.

One day they were late for their first day of work in the new farm, because the bus they took dropped them off a few milers away from the farm. They walked a few miles to the farm. On the way there, they went across the forest. In the forest, George taught Lennie what to do when they meet their boss. Georgo was afraid that Lennie would mess the whole deal up like he usually did. George told Lennie that whenever something goes wrong, go back to hide in the brunch.

When they met the boss, they settled down in the farm ready to work it. One day, the boss's son's wife suddenly wanted Lennie to pet her hair. Lennie started to pet her hair, and out of controlled. He couldn’t stop petting it. He killed her. He went back to the brunch in the forest where Goerge told him to go when things go wrong.

Everyone in the farm was searching for Lennie to kill him for murdering the girl. George knows that Lennie will be dead when they find him. He headed back to the brunched and found him. He killed Lennie.
