Bilingual education is important because bilingual education can help us understand the class. For example history and science, so we could understand more vocabularies. Bilingual education can help us improve two languages, it can help us communicate and create relationship with other people.

In New York City are many different people from different countries, they will get problems between English and their native language. There is bilingual education for every student in school. Now I have bilingual education is very important to me because it can help me understand more in class. For example in history class I have to understand more about history, if I don’t understand it I can’t even pass any of the Regents exams. When I don’t understand some new vocabulary, the teacher can talk in Chinese so I can understand more what it is about. Bilingual education for the student who just came to United States is very helpful for them, if they are in regular class they will feel uncomfortable because they can’t communicated with other people, and people will laugh at them. I think that will be very bad. Bilingual education can help improve my English and Chinese and be useful for my future job. Therefore I am very happy I’m in bilingual Chinese.

Bilingual education is very good for students but not every school has it, some schools didn’t have bilingual class. So I think it is hard for students who just come to United States. Hopefully, bilingual education wills every school in this country, so everyone could easily understand because bilingual education is important for them.
